Recognition of Prior Learning
If the applicant does not meet the entrance requirements he/she can either do one of our beauty technology short courses (full set) or apply for recognition of prior learning, the requirements for RPL in this programme is as follows:
The learner must be able to demonstrate competence in the knowledge, skills,
values and attitudes implicit in the Beauty and Nail Technology qualification.
Recognition of Prior Learning will be done by means of Integrated Assessment of
the specific outcomes of the associated unit standards and of the Exit Level
Outcomes of the qualification. This is done through a simple practical test , testing the learners basic knowledge of beauty procedures.
